Educational Terminology
The educational community has very definite terms for people with "learning disabilities". They, and rightfully so based upon their education, see the various forms of dyslexia as a disability or a special education need. It is a way for the bureaucracy to classify what is seen as a problem. As a rule, instead of learning how to work with and enhance this ability, a child is usually labeled with a learning disability, or worse!
Some of our greatest thinkers and artisans possess this ability. As a society, we would not have considered "fixing" the thinking of people like:
| Albert Einstein | Thomas Edison | Alexander Graham Bell | Leonardo da Vinci |
| Walt Disney | General George Patton | Winston Churchill | Woodrow Wilson |
| Cher | Whoopi Goldberg | Danny Glover | Greg Louganis |
| Bruce Jenner | Jackie Stewart |
